Studio Production Coordinator

We are searching for a star Studio Production Coordinator to join our growing Kelowna studio team. As the Studio Production Coordinator, you will be interface with creative team members, working closely with Studio Operations and maintaining regular communication with our Vancouver studio team.

What you will be doing:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of the production by tracking weekly quotas, artist submissions and output, as well as progress updates
  • Maintain strong studio communication overall with Creative Leads in Vancouver and Kelowna
  • Communicate with artists regarding production schedules and deadlines
  • Manage the administrative aspects of the production including archiving, filing or storing artwork, creating inventory lists, distribution of material, etc.
  • Provide leadership and be a key stakeholder in maintaining positive studio environment across various shows
  • File management and regular cleanup of server space
  • Coordinate materials for shipment 
  • Troubleshoot possible problems or issues leading to delays in production
  • Assess the equipment available for artists and notify management if additional equipment is required

What you bring to the table:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in similar capacity, preferably in animation, film, and/or gaming industry
  • Previous P.A. experience an asset
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in related field an asset 
  • Proficiency in MS Office (such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Google Applications
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication (both verbally and written) and conflict resolution skills
  • Willingness to interface with Technology and learn new tracking softwares related to animation industry
